What This Means

When Styley recommends an outfit, we include links to products available on Amazon. These are affiliate links, which means that if you click on a link and make a purchase, Styley earns a small commission from Amazon at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or find the product on your own.

How Affiliate Links Work

Here is a simple breakdown of how the process works:

  1. 1You take the Styley style quiz and receive personalized outfit recommendations.
  2. 2Each recommended item includes a link to find it on Amazon. These links contain a special tracking code that identifies Styley as the referrer.
  3. 3If you click a link and make a purchase on Amazon (within a qualifying window), Amazon pays Styley a small percentage of the sale as a referral fee.
  4. 4You pay no extra. The commission comes from Amazon, not from you.

Our Commitment to Honest Recommendations

Affiliate commissions are an important part of how we keep Styley free for everyone. However, we want to be completely transparent about how this works:

  • Recommendations are style-first. Our AI generates outfit recommendations based on your style profile, not on which products pay the highest commission.
  • No pay-to-play. Brands cannot pay to be featured in your recommendations. Our AI selects items based solely on style fit.
  • No pressure to buy. You are never required to purchase anything. The style recommendations are valuable on their own, and you can shop wherever you prefer.
  • Full transparency. Every product link on Styley is an affiliate link. We do not hide this fact or use deceptive practices to obscure it.

Our Business Model

We believe in being upfront about how we make money. Styley generates revenue through two channels:

Affiliate Commissions

A small commission when you purchase recommended items through our Amazon links. This is our primary revenue source and how we keep the core product free.

Premium Subscriptions

Optional paid plans (coming soon) that unlock additional features like unlimited recommendations and virtual try-on.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not use dark patterns. Our incentives are aligned with yours: the better our recommendations, the more likely you are to find something you love.
